Ruth Deraed is an Alliance Manager within the Pathogen Program at EIT, where she develops and manages strategic relationships with external partners, including the University of Oxford. In her role, Ruth works to identify opportunities for collaboration, support joint research initiatives, and strengthen long-term partnerships that advance EIT’s mission.
Before joining EIT, Ruth worked in the Business Partnerships team at the University of Oxford, where she led the development of commercial research partnerships and managed several major strategic alliances. Her previous experience includes partnership management at Cancer Research UK, business engagement at a Local Enterprise Partnership, and serving as a Departmental Administrator at the University of Oxford. Earlier in her career, she conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Nice in France.
Ruth holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Molecular Biology.
