Lucrezia Tincani is a Programme Manager within the EIT Plant Biology Institute, where she will be responsible for helping set up its programme management architecture. Lucrezia is passionate about creating cycles of reflection and learning within programmes, to drive impactful and innovative delivery.
Lucrezia holds a PhD in Climate Resilience from SOAS/University of London, a MSc in Environmental Economics from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Plant Sciences from the Cambridge University.
She has spent most of her career at the interface of science and policy, while working alongside smallholder farmers, academics, policymakers, and investors in the UK, Africa and Asia.
Prior to joining EIT, she worked as Head of Policy at the FAIRR Foundation, advising a sustainable investor network aiming to harness the power of capital to push for more sustainable investment options within food systems.
Previously she spent ten years across two international-development consultancies – Oxford Policy Management and Genesis Analytics – where she designed, implemented, and evaluated economic development programmes on agriculture and climate change.
She is delighted to return to Plant Sciences and apply her programme management skills to the new EIT Plant Biology Institute.
Lucrezia enjoys kayaking with her family in and around Oxford, exploring in nature, geeking out about plants, foraging, guerilla gardening, singing, and is passionate about mental health.
