Katie Glackin Adams is the Director of Legal at EIT, where she provides legal support and advice across all areas of the Institute to further its mission of developing and deploying technology in pursuit of solving some of humanity’s most challenging and enduring problems.

Prior to joining EIT, Katie was Head of Legal in the UK and Ireland for Olympus Corporation, a global leader in medical systems designed to make people’s lives safer, healthier, and more fulfilling. She also previously served as in-house counsel at EDF Energy.

Katie is a qualified English lawyer who trained with international law firm Taylor Wessing LLP, qualifying into their Corporate Commercial and Projects Department in 2013.

Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, gardening, and spending time with her family - particularly on long dog walks - having recently relocated to Oxfordshire.
