Professor Cecilia M. Lindgren, Ph.D., F.Med.Sci. is Co-Director of the AI & Robotics Institute at EIT, where she leads strategic initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning and health data science, in close collaboration with the University of Oxford. She is also Professor at Oxford University, and Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Aneira Health, a women’s health company harnessing AI to deliver proactive, precision care at scale.
Recognised globally for her leadership in applying data science, computational medicine and biotechnology to pressing health challenges, Professor Lindgren has led and transformed major multidisciplinary initiatives and institutions. She has authored over 240 peer-reviewed publications and is among the top 0.1% most cited scientists globally.
Her work has been recognised with numerous awards, including the Mary Lyon Medal, the Bertoli Award, and election as a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
